Early season. Arguably one of the best tasting blueberries we’ve tried. Bearing heavy bunches of very large, sapphire blue fruit, Spartan eagerly produces its harvests very early in the season from easy-to-harvest, 4–6 foot tall plants. Pamper this variety in lighter soil that is well-drained and rich in organic matter, and you’ll be rewarded with buckets of delicious berries. Zones 5–7.
