Mid-season, Porcelain type. A Canadian heirloom selected for exceptional cold tolerance and strong disease resistance. Originating in Alberta, this extra-hardy variety forms tight, heavy bulbs wrapped in clean white skins, occasionally showing light purple streaking depending on soil conditions. Each bulb produces 5–6 large, easy-to-peel cloves, making kitchen prep quick and efficient. It delivers a strong, full garlic flavor with a pleasant spicy kick when raw and stores well into early spring. With its impressive clove size and reliable performance in cold climates, Norquay is a must-have for every Northern garden.
