Asimina triloba Mango pawpaw is known for its vigorous, fast-growing habit. This exceptional selection produces large fruit with rich orange flesh and a creamy, tropical flavor reminiscent of bananas, with a hint of mango. The 3–6 inch fruit are packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. They are delicious eaten fresh and versatile enough for recipes ranging from sorbets to smoothies, baked goods, and even craft beer. Pawpaws are among the most rewarding fruit trees to grow, naturally disease- and pest-resistant, and suitable for mixed orchards or backyard gardens. Mango, like all pawpaws, requires a second variety for cross-pollination and abundant fruiting. Hardy in zones 5–8.
