Mid-season, Porcelain type. This garlic is almost too beautiful to eat. Originating in the Republic of Georgia, Georgian Crystal offers medium heads with huge cloves. The plump, symmetrical cloves are wrapped in thick, parchment-like skin making them easy to peel. This garlic offers a rich, smooth, slightly smoky flavor that is not too hot. Also, an excellent variety for raw eating and in pesto and salsas. Stores 6-8 months.
